AMI

The Stuttgart School District is closed, we will use the alternative methods of instruction days as described below.

Seventh/Eighth Grade

  • Teachers will be available by email from 8-3 on AMI days. (email teachers if you need assistance.
  • Teachers must prepare and submit/post the assignments by 8:00 a.m. on the missed instructional day and will be available in NEST (Schoology-LMS). (email dflanagan@stuttgartschools.org, klisko@stuttgartschools.org, or amarek@stuttgartschools.org if you need help with NEST)
  • The teacher is responsible for making the instruction relevant and rigorous for all students.
  • Teachers will assess the progress and completion of assignments by grading the work. The teachers who use educational software assignments, will be able to check the instructional time on task. Each part of the assignment will be graded for each day and factored into the attendance and grades for the week in which the alternative learning day is assigned.
  • Students who fail to complete the work assigned for an alternative learning day based upon current lessons will be marked absent for the period/day and receive a zero for that assignment.
  • Students get two days to make up their work for every day missed.
  • Students with an IEP, 504 plan, or ELL plan will have their time extended based on their plan. (contact Ms. Anita Johnson by email if you need assistance. anitajohnson@stuttgartschools.org)
  • Grades and attendance should be recorded within five days of the declared AMI day.
