Mrs. Jovi’s class enjoyed having a Mystery Reader this afternoon! We had an awesome time with Ms. Cathy and her dinosaur book! 🦖🦕 Ms. Cathy was also INCREDIBLY generous and made sure that each of my students got a book from the book fair! #MysteryReaders📚 #RISEArkansas

My kiddos have been working really hard on their volume level in  our class and in their activity classes. Today they were awarded the Golden Mouse for Computer Lab and the Golden Microphone for Music. To top it all off, they got a popsicle party for a great week in our literacy class. I am so proud of them and their hard work this week. -Jessica Hosman, 4th grade Literacy ❤️💜📚🎤💻

On Wednesday, Mrs. Marineal Porter, representing the Stuttgart Women’s Club, made a generous donation to the PAE library. Mrs. Porter asked me if the library had a need at the first of the school year, and I mentioned our Mo Willems books have become very worn. These books are crowd favorites, and they get read and loved until they fall to pieces. I am very excited to replace these beloved titles using this donation. Thank you Mrs. Porter and the Stuttgart Woman’s Club for your continued support and for valuing literacy so highly. -Tia Brickey 📚❤️📚 #RicebirdReaders

Mrs. Jovi’s home room played “Call of the Wild” today. It was a different way to build relationships while being silly! Students received an animal card and had to make the sound while finding a partner making the same sound. We had a LOT of fun! Happy Friday! -Mrs. Jovi Persons, 4th Grade Literacy

Ms. Hill’s students put their knowledge of multiplication facts to work in some friendly competition today before getting to know each other better through some dicebreaker questions and then testing their engineering skills by working with their table group to build the tallest independently-standing tower out of toothpicks and marshmallows! We even had Mrs. Meghan join in on some of the fun! It was a successful second day in fourth grade!
