
Students in Mrs. Kerksieck’s Advanced American History classes created presidential puppets! After researching their assigned president, students created a Google Slides presentation and a puppet of their president to aid them as they taught their classmates!

Juniors met with Jostens representatives today and received information on ordering their class rings! Orders will be placed Friday during lunch!





SHS counselors Mrs. Angie Sherman and Mrs. Kim Lisko and College and Career Coach Ms. Sherrick Withers have been meeting with students to discuss their transcripts, credits, ACT information, graduation requirements and what they need to be doing to be successful this year!

DECA is holding a fundraiser to help with travel-related expenses. We need new or gently used sneakers or running shoes by September 30. (The shoes go to developing countries.) You may drop off at the high school office or give to any DECA member. Thank you for your help!


BIRDS WIN! Stuttgart picks up a 37-26 win over Forrest City on the road! The Birds are 3-1 heading into conference play next week at Harding Academy!

Our Spanish classes are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, which began today and continues through October 15!
September 15th is Independence Day in Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Costa Rica. September 16th is Mexico's Independence Day. Chile celebrates Independence Day on September 18th.
October 12th is considered Columbus Day in the U.S., but is considered Día de la Raza in Latin America. This day celebrates the diversities of Latin America.
In the U.S., we recognize the contribution and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture and achievements of the United States.





The ArkACRAO Post Secondary Fair was hosted by Stuttgart High School Wednesday September 14th. SHS sophomores, juniors, and seniors along with students from England, Hazen, and Clarendon had the opportunity to visit with over 30 recruiters from institutions across the state as well as military recruiters.
