Four SHS students have received recognition for their accomplishments in computer science! Senior Evan Watson along with juniors Madison Holland, Kristopher Popejoy, and Emilee Simpson were selected as Computer Science Students of Distinction by the Arkansas Academy of Computing for the 2022–2023 school year. The CSSoD is an award program for high school juniors and seniors who are interested in pursuing a career in Computer Science. The program, which is facilitated by the Arkansas Computer Science Initiative, is administered by the Arkansas Academy of Computing. Congratulations, Ricebirds!
SHS honored its retirees with a potluck celebration Wednesday afternoon. The faculty, staff, and students of SHS are incredibly grateful to Robert Hoover, Laverne Wofford, Carol Jo Lambert, Sandie Ragland, Debra Avery, and Freddie Taylor for their years of service and dedication to Stuttgart schools!
