On Thursday morning, multiple law enforcement agencies and first responders will be in the SJHS parking lot for a crash scene reenactment sponsored by CODE. The demonstration educates students on the dangers of drinking and driving and encourages safe choices after prom. Community members should not be alarmed by the scene. The reenactment should be complete by 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Anyone with questions can call the SHS office at (870) 673-3561.


BIRDS WIN! The baseball Birds moved to 7-0 in conference play with a 15-5 win over Star City!

Congratulations to our Farmers Protective Mutual Insurance Track Athletes of the Week Danyelle Poole and Sparky Clark! Sparky competed in the 100, 200, 4x100 and 4x200 track events, while Danyelle represented SHS in the 100, 200, 4x100 and 4x200 and placed first in the long jump and triple jump.


Congratulations to seniors Jeff Henson and Matthew Jackson and freshman Ainsley Noble who earned their Microsoft Excel Specialist certifications as part of their Survey of Business class.


RICEBIRD UPDATE!
Today's junior track meet has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 13.
Today's softball game against Baptist Prep is set for 5:30 p.m. at Reinsch Complex.


FBLA and DECA members Nathan Skinner and Stephanie Rivera volunteered their Saturday morning to give the entrance to the SHS gym a much needed facelift!
