The Lady Ricebird soccer team moved to 2-0 in conference play with a 6-2 thrashing of Warren on the road!
A junior parent meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday, March 27, in the SHS library. Mrs. Sherman and Ms. Withers will discuss scheduling for next year, changes to the college schedule, scholarships, and how juniors should prepare for their senior year over the summer.

REMINDER! A mandatory meeting for parents and students that signed up for cheer tryouts will be held at 5:15 p.m. today in the junior high gym!

Members of the SHS Art Club and art students created quilt tiles for a cause of their choice. The collaborative quilt will be displayed at the Clinton Presidential Center. Students visited the Clinton Library Friday to tour the center and view the quilt before it is displayed for the public.
RICEBIRD UPDATE! Several changes have been made to Thursday's athletic events due to potential inclement weather.
Baseball has been moved to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday at home vs. Hamburg.
Softball has been moved to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday at home vs. Hamburg.
Girls and boys soccer will play at Warren Thursday but games will be moved up one hour. The girls will start at 4:00 p.m. with the boys to follow at 6:00 p.m.
At this time, the track meet at Crossett is still scheduled for 4:00 p.m.

RICEBIRD UPDATE! Thursday's boys and girls soccer games at Warren have been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 15, due to potential inclement weather. The girls' game will start at 5:00 p.m. followed by the boys at 7:00 p.m.
CAP Conferences are coming up! Students and families will select their courses for the 2023-24 school year on Wednesday, April 5. CAP advisors should be contacting our Ricebird families this week to schedule times. Those with questions can contact their student's CAP advisor or the SHS office at (870) 673-3561.
BIRDS WIN! The Ricebirds went 3-0 on Friday with the Lady Ricebird softball team picking up a 3-2 victory over Vilonia on the road, while the girls and boys soccer teams earned 3-1 victories over Monticello at home!
RICEBIRD UPDATE! Today's Ricebird baseball game against Warren has been canceled and will be rescheduled for a later date. The Lady Ricebird softball game against Warren will be rescheduled, but the Lady Ricebirds will travel to Vilonia for a 5:00 p.m. contest as part of the Central Arkansas Shootout.
Due to field conditions, the baseball and softball games have been moved to Warren! Both games are set to begin at 5:00 p.m.
Good luck to sophomore Ricebird Trevor Diaz as he competes for a state title today and tomorrow at Arkansas Golden Gloves in Little Rock! Trevor will represent Stuttgart Gloves Not Guns Boxing Club.
Any junior parent interested in helping with prom is invited to attend a prom planning meeting at 5:15 p.m. today in the SHS library!
